PISTON TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
We have supported a previous client in the meticulous design of a bespoke piston for advanced combustion engine development where their
requirement was to record operating temperatures at specific locations on the piston.
EMISSIONS DEVELOPMENT VEHICLE
In an effort to support the continuous progression of emission requirements in the automotive industry, we have supported a variety of clients in the
construction of prototype vehicles destined for a range of emission and powertrain functionality tests.
Dual-runner intake system
We have supported in the development of a dual-runner intake system for a high-performance power unit, exploring the optimal airflow for peak combustion
engine performance.
This system provided opportunities in a reduced complexity and weight compared to the incumbent variable-length intake system.
Electric powertrain integration
With the movement of the automotive
industry to electric drivetrain technology, we
have worked on vehicles requiring the
conversion from a combustion engine to an
electric drivetrain.
D-CYCLE Engine
A very interesting research & development project we have supported involved the rig testing of a D-Cycle combustion engine, running on a liquid-petroleum gas (LPG) fuel system.
Charge-Air Cooler
A critical component in modern day turbocharged engines is the charge-air cooling system, designed to reduce the intake air temperature by ~100°C from the turbo compressor to the combustion chamber with as minimal a pressure drop as possible.

In our continued quest for creating new and novel designs, we have developed a device which vastly improves the precision of measuring Cylinder Head combustion chamber volumes.
High Performance Suspension Bushes
Another in-house project we have worked on is the design and productionisation of a suspension bush intended for high performance track day vehicles across the globe.
